The Pre-College Summer Institute at the University of
the Arts offers intensive programs for rising high-school
juniors and seniors in acting, art, media and design, dance,
music, and musical theater. The rigorous programs are one,
two, or four weeks in July, and provide students considering art school or a career in the arts with the opportunity
to build their portfolio or audition and preview the college
experience.

Our Pre-College Perspective gives High-school juniors/
seniors the chance to explore visual art and design in studio settings. Study with Ringling faculty, live on campus,
and earn three college credits. Our Wildacres Retreat Art
Workshops take place in Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina. These one-week studios for adults of all ages explore
various media including drawing, painting, printmaking,
clay studio, figure study, photography, and more. Teachers
can earn CEUs.
