MassArt’s Art New England Workshops are held in Bennington, Vermont, and provide an opportunity to
be immersed in art-making without
the interruptions of daily life. One-week workshops are offered in painting, drawing, printmaking, artist’s
books, ceramics, and small sculpture.
Participants are inspired by faculty
who are renowned artists and generous teachers. Bennington College
offers superb studio facilities that are
open twenty-four hours, evening lectures, open life-drawing, and superb
food. Art New England is an ideal
environment to reinvigorate your current practice or to delve into another
medium. All courses may be taken for
graduate or undergraduate credit. For

MassArt offers a variety of extraor-
dinary resources and programs for
artists, art educators, and high-school
students. In addition to undergraduate
(BFA) and graduate (MFA, MSAE)
degree programs, MassArt offers a
low-residency MFA, based at the Fine
Arts Work Center in Provincetown,
Massachusetts. Summer Studios, Mas-
sArt’s pre-college summer program, is
an intensive experience in art-making
and critical thinking for students
entering grades eleven and twelve.
Students may apply to receive college
credit. Supervised housing in the col-
lege residence hall is available. Art
New England Workshops, week-long
classes in a variety of media, are held
in Bennington, Vermont, in July and
August and attract art educators as
well as artists of all levels. For more
