NUMBERS
The combination of various unique materi- als within a piece of art excites me. I love to intertwine fibers, metal, acrylics, col- ored pencils, collage, rubber stamps, oil
pastels, glue, transparencies, and found objects in
my own artwork. However, I have always found
it difficult to have students successfully use multiple materials in one composition. The unstructured nature of allowing students the freedom to
use various materials often results in haphazard
and unsuccessful artwork.
