Students used the pencils to create
artist trading cards, experimenting
with analogous and complementary
color combinations, blending,
defining, and contrasting until they
achieved the desired results. Their
ATCs turned out great! The pencils
have inspired my students to expand
their review of the elements of art to
include value and form as well as the
design principle of pattern, resulting
in great individual works of art.
