Architecture in Education is a project of the Philadelphia Chapter of
the American Institute of Architects
(AIA), who believe that students
should be introduced to how cities
are made, how design affects human
behavior, how the natural and built
worlds affect each other, and how
individuals can influence their environments. Architectural concepts provide the basis for hands-on, interactive
projects, including drawing, writing,
model making, neighborhood walks,
field trips, research, observation, and
class presentation.
