DVD with my first- and fifth-
grade students this year. During
my first-grade classes, I played the
video as a curricular extension for
early finishers while other students
continued working on a Monet-
inspired art piece. I was also able

fifth-grade students to help them
understand Impressionism for an
artist research project.
