Venice
Travel to
with SchoolArts
SchoolArts editor Nancy Walkup and advisory board member Pam Stephens
invite you to join them for an eight-day Venice City stay, June 18–25, 2011.
Dan Darr, Venice.
SchoolArts hosts trips abroad every few years, and a previous trip took us to Ven- ice for a few days. We loved the place and wanted to dedicate more time to a visit,
so we are going again in 2011!
You’ll have the opportunity to plan on-your-own sorts of travel, as well as the option to book
group excursions or events. Since this trip will
be made up of art teachers or university-age art
education students, you’ll always have someone
to accompany you on your adventures.
Some of the activities include catching a
vaporetto to go out to Murano and Burano, taking
walking tours of the cities, and visiting the Peggy
Guggenheim Museum.
We’d love for you and your friends, family, and
colleagues to join us on this adventure!
The trip includes round-trip coach airfare,
hotel, all breakfasts, one dinner, all taxes, all baggage handling, ground transfers in Venice, and
a tour representative on the premises. The trip
ranges from $1679 (you provide your own air and
ground transfers in Venice) to about $2904 (
airfare inclusive), depending on your departure city.
We are planning well in advance to assure that
travelers have plenty of time to plan and save for
the trip, and we’re taking reservations to hold the
current pricing and to reserve a room. A $300 deposit is
due upon reservation. All payments go through Go Ahead
Vacations. People who have previously traveled with Nancy
and Pam through Go Ahead Tours are eligible for discounts
based upon the number of trips they have taken with the
company. A $300 deposit reserves your space with the bal-
ance due seventy days prior to travel. Incentives are avail-
able for early booking.
