To finish the year, we have an exciting game of Art Jeopardy, where clues to the many new words learned are given and the students must identify them. I have used this curriculum every other year for four years now, and I have found that my students really enjoy it. The packet they receive gives them ownership of their lessons, and they know what to expect when the next proj- ect is about to begin.

I believe this curriculum is not meant only for art class. You can use this plan for any discipline. Foreign language, music, and science can also plan with this idea.

Adaptation

You can easily adapt this for younger students by using simpler vocabulary. As an example, my group made “C is for Coil Pottery.” But if you find that too complicated for your younger students, choose “C is for Crayons” instead.
