Bead Annealing Kiln
Paragon’s new Blue Bird glass bead kiln is a digital front-loader with two doors that accept bead rods. The kiln
anneals glass beads and figurines to relieve stress during
cooling. The interior is 5" deep, 20" wide, and 5" high with a
firebrick roof and ceramic fiber walls and floor. The element
is in the roof and seated in pinless grooves. Maximum temperature is 1200˚F/650˚C. The eight-segment Sentry Xpress
version four digital controller maintains the annealing
temperature and can cool at a controlled rate. The Blue Bird
plugs into a standard household outlet, draws 960 watts,
