S pending a day in an art museum with students is one of my favor - ite activities. There's a good chance that you have students who haven't had the opportunity. Or if they have, they didn't enjoy it. After talking with other art educators, I've realized that planning an effective museum field trip requires both time and a good dose of creativity. While preparing for field trips, I often struggle with questions such as: How can I ensure that students visit the many galleries? Will they remem - ber what they saw?
