HAPPINESS I n today's world, students are exposed to negativity around every corner. Watching the news can eas- ily put someone in a state of anxi- ety or depression. Our students are feeling the weight of the world in a way that previous generations did not. Being a teacher has never required as much breadth as it does today— not only are we responsible for our students' academic success, but our attention is also necessary for ensur- ing their social and emotional needs.
