Tres Culturas: Exploring the Artistic Spirit of Santa Fe, July 17–23, 2017: The spirit of New Mexico may best be captured through the senses—the distinctive smell of wet earth during a storm, the scent of burning piñon, the incredibly tur - quoise sky, and the rough texture of r ounded, organic forms. This spirit finds expression in a unique way of life created from the contributions of three cultures: Pueblo Indian, His - panic, and Anglo. Tres Culturas is designed to help curious travelers explore and under- stand the diversity of New Mexico's a rtistic heritage from ancient times to the present. Planned highlights include a tour of Georgia O'Keeffe's home in Abiquiu; a celebration at a living history museum; the Petro - glyph National Monument, and the I ndian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque; a visit to Roxanne Swentzell's Tower Gallery, and much more. Anyone is welcome to join us; you do not need to be an educator. Explore, Learn, Dis- cover, and Create in this immersion i n visual art and design. Students 16–18 years of age (grades 10–12) earn 3 college elective credits. Summer Teacher Institute (July 10-15): Take two workshops in stu - dio and/or digital arts, earn CEUs, a ll while improving both personal practice and professional pedagogy. Wildacres Art Workshops (July and October sessions): Weeklong classes are offered in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains of North Car - olina.
