The Rhine River rises around the shining white museum and breaks through the gates, leaving behind a chaos of display cabinets, pedestals, catalogs, posters, drift wood, mud, and oddities. Sedimenta- tion has now risen to the surface to form a new order. The museum can normally be compared to a dam, but now it has become debris and formed a stream. New life builds its nest. The beaver builds an office furniture dam including coral reef. Frogs croak at cell phones. The lost office plant toys with a water rat. A cicada surfs on a dish sponge as zebra mussels dance the cha-cha-cha. The mermaid luxuriates in her dim cave. Sup, oh heart, on the superabundance of time! (www.stein-
