Pop-Its™ Dimensional Borders Teacher: Heather White, art teacher, E.P. Rayzor Elementary School, Denton, Texas Level: Early Childhood The Project: The frogs on the PopIts Dimensional Border inspired an art lesson focusing on the book, In the Small, Small Pond by Denise Fleming. The objective was to create a critter for our bulletin board "pond" that had formal balance and a line of symmetry. The threedimensional Pop-Its border served to draw attention to and enhance the three-dimensional critters created by students. This unique and fun frog border was simple to use and drew a lot of attention to the bulletin board and students' artwork. Everyone wanted to know where it came from and how they could order some for their classrooms! Circle No. 347 on Reader's Service Card 11
