F O C U S I N National Art Education Association F ounded in 1947, the National Art Edu- cation Association (NAEA) is the leading professional membership organization exclusively for visual arts educators. Mem- bers include elementary, middle, and high-school visual arts educators; col- lege and university pro- fessors, researchers and scholars, teaching artists, administrators and supervi- sors, and art museum edu- cators; as well as more than 45,000 students who are members of the National Art Honor Society or are university students prepar- ing to be art educators.
