Also, visiting a local alpaca farm and learning about felting, connecting with a local wildlife center, displ ing at a local librar nd courthouse, and [creating] cards for a nursing home." —Keriann Kirkeng, Oconomowoc, WI "I do a couple of communit -connected projects. The first one is an annual art calendar, where Art 1 students draw local businesses that purchase an ad spot. I choose the best 40 drawings out of more than 120 to include. Currentl orking on the 2019 calendar." — Mr. C's Art Class, Shelb ville, KY "All art classes work on a Creative Compassion Project, creating coloring books, worr olls, joke books, and lunch bags which all get donated to a local hospital.
